[ E-mail ALMOND AND SAFFRON SLICES recipe to a friend ]

Ingredients:
3 egg
75gms almonds grind into powder
200 gms milk powder
200 sugar
a nice pinch of saffron
100gms unsaled butter
25 gms flaked almonds
whipped cream as required
Method:
Beat the eggs in mixing bowl and keep aside, in another mixing bowl add sugar almond powder ,milk powder and saffron mix well. In another small saucepan melt butter and pour over the dry mixture and mix well with fork.Add the beaten eggs and blend it.Spead the mixture in a shallow dish 15 to 20 cm and bake it in pre-heated oven at 160c 325 f, for 40to 45 mins Check it with piercing with tooth pick or knife which will emerge clean if its done. Cut into diamond shape or into slices and decorate with almond flakes. this dish can be enjoyed hot or cold can be serve it with whipped cream .this dish can be made in advance before aday or even a week and kept it in freeze.
